Belldandy stood up and started to walk towards the house. Megumi and Urd followed. As they reached the porch they slipped off their shoes and stepped inside the open door. When they entered the hallway they got a sudden chill when they heard a scream coming from the living room. "What was that!?!" Belldandy said as she jumped to the sudden sound. "Oh it was probably Skuld fighting with the computer again. Don’t worry about it." Urd said as they continued down the hallway. They reached Keichi’s door and stopped. Urd reached for the door knob and tried to turn it. It wouldn’t twist. It was locked! She jiggled it again more aggressively. She turned to look at Belldandy who had a confused look. Urd backed up to the wall behind her and ran full speed towards the door. She hit it and fell to the ground. Grabbing her shoulder that was throbbing with pain she exclaimed "Oh God that smarts!" She stood back up and looked at the door "Well I just don’t get it" She sighed as she turned to walk back towards the living room. But before she could take a step she heard something, a creaking sound. She turned and looked at Belldandy who was looking at the door. The door sprung open. They looked at each other. "What in the world is going on" Belldandy finally spoke. Belldandy peeked inside. There was no signs of any kind of extraterrestrial life so she walked in. Belldandy got a little scared so she turned around and motioned for Urd to come in. "Uh-uh, no way, your on your own now sis, there is no way I am going in there!" Urd replied shaking her finger from side to side in a no-no kind of way. Urd turned and walked past the door into her room, slamming the door behind her. She plopped on the bed and crossed her legs as she sighed and stared at the ceiling. "Oh come to think of it I am kind of ~yawn~ tired" she moaned as she began to close her eyes. Meanwhile Belldandy continued to walk into the room. It was pitch black as if she was blind. She couldn’t even see her hand when she waved it in front of her face. She turned back towards the door and it slammed shut. She walked back towards the door to where the light switch was. She tripped over a pile of clothes and stumbled to the floor. She could feel that she had scraped her knee. She stood back up slowly and put her arms in front of her like you would if you were sleep walking. She quietly walked towards the wall. She walked very slowly, with her feet not lifting off the ground and stepping toes first so that she wouldn’t fall again. Her finger touched the wall. She swept her hand repeatedly against it trying to find the light switch. She finally found it and switched it back on. She looked at her knee now that she could finally see what she was looking at. There was a tiny scrape nothing that a Band-Aid couldn’t cover. She walked back over to his bed. There was a chair next it. She grabbed the arm of the chair and moved it towards her and slowly sat down. She put her gentle hand on top of his and said softly to him "I am sorry we couldn’t spend more time together. I miss you so much already. I can’t believe you are gone." A tear left a wave of sadness as it rolled off her cheek to the floor beneath her. She whipped the tears off her face, her hand felt so cold against her cheek. She put her hand to his forehead and ran her fingers down his dull face, feeling every niche, every crease, and every wrinkle. She moved the bangs out of his face. His hair so soft and shiny, almost lively. She stared at his blank expression, and his lifeless body, the soul that had been completely drained out of him that she had loved so much, that kept her moving every day. An inspiration to her life, all gone. No hope left, just sorrow. "You have no idea what it is like." She whispered gently in his ear. She climbed into the bed and laid down next to him. She put her hand on his bare chest and swiftly swayed her hand up and down his chest. She rested her hand on his shoulder. Her eyes became blurry as she could feel the tears start to come. She tried to hold them in but the pain, the agony, it hurt so much. She looked up at the side of his face, "You don’t know how much I love you and I guess now you will never know." The tears began to fall, rolling off the side of her face and hitting the pillow. "I need you Keichi, please, please come back" she said to him knowing he couldn’t hear her. She kept thinking he was there just sleeping that he would wake up soon, but on the inside she knew he was gone, gone for good. She didn’t know what to do. She leaned her head over and kissed the side of his cold dead face with her soft lips. All she knew was that the only thing left, was love.
